Associates for Human Services, Inc. provides support services for infants and toddlers, youth, adults, and seniors experiencing developmental disabilities or delays, as well as families struggling economically, in our four programs:
- Early Intervention serves children, birth to age 3, with developmental disabilities or delays
- Early Head Start serves low-income families with children, birth to age 3; and pregnant women
- Taunton Area School to Career provides a necessary linkage between school and the world of work, career, and life through activities such as Job Shadowing, Student Internships, and the Career Mentor Program.
- Wise Adult Day Health Program is a day support and adult day health service for adults and seniors with developmental disabilities or health related issues.
AHS, with Debucas Wine & Liquors, is hosting an International Grand Wine & Craft Beer Tasting & Silent Auction on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Bristol Community College, Bldg G. We are expecting 400 people to attend this event.
Money raised from this event will support the Lifelong Learning Fund. This fund is used to provide vital support for infants and toddlers, youth, adults and seniors in our programs who are developmentally disabled or delayed, and families experiencing economical and/or educational challenges. For instance, it allows us to provide therapeutic equipment for Early Intervention, Welcome Bags for Early Head Start, and community, social and education opportunities in our Wise Adult Day Health Programs. In addition, Taunton Area School to Career can continue to bridge business and education thus improving tomorrow’s workforce.
