On March 24, Team IMPACT will recreate its signature fundraising event: the Game Day Gala. At this charitable fête, Team IMPACT will celebrate its worthy accomplishments with its courageous young participants and benefactors by hosting the ultimate upscale tailgating and sporting aficionado experience.
The evening’s roster includes event co-chairs – and Team IMPACT founding members – Dan Kraft (President, The Kraft Group-International) and Jay Calnan (Chief Executive Officer, J. Calnan & Associates) who again will join forces with event emcee and ESPN anchor, Wendi Nix, in this unforgettable night-with-a-cause that benefits the organization’s mission to pair children who are facing life-threatening or chronic illnesses with college athletic teams.
Supporters will enjoy live music from a college marching band, Team IMPACT’s participating collegiate athletes bedecked in their respective jerseys and special guest appearances by their spirited mascots. The Game Day Gala also will feature unparalleled live and silent auction items ranging from one-of-a-kind sports experiences and collectables to luxury travel packages. Highlights from this year’s auction include an all-inclusive stay at an Italian villa; traveling with the New England Patriots team to an away game, complete with two tickets; an opportunity to throw the first pitch at a 2016 Boston Red Sox game, including four VIP seats; a golf and ski package at the exclusive Yellowstone Club in Big Sky, Montana; a framed #10 University of Michigan jersey signed by Tom Brady; an ultra-luxe stay at the Ritz Carlton Reserve in Dorado Beach, Puerto Rico; and more.
