Savor Culinary Specialities of Dedham with a Mardi Gras Twist!
The Dedham Rotary Club announces its annual culinary fundraiser Taste Dedham featuring a Mardi Gras Theme with over 25 participating restaurants, contests and masks!
“We are excited to hold Taste Dedham again in the month of October. Pumpkins, cooler weather and the opportunity for guests to sample a number of different cuisines at Taste Dedham creates a great atmosphere in the town of Dedham. We hope that we have a great turnout this year, supporting the Dedham Rotary Club’s services and programs of helping others. Service Above Self.” expressed by Carol O’Connor, event director of Taste Dedham and President of TableCritic Inc.
Rotary is an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide, who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations and help build goodwill and peace. The Dedham Rotary Club raises money to support a number of services and programs: College Scholarships to four Dedham residents annually; monetary donations and support to Dedham Youth Sports, Dedham Police, Fire and Veteran causes, senior citizens, the Dedham Food Pantry and international charities, such as Habitat for Humanity.
This year’s emcee is John Tobin, Vice President of City & Community Affairs of Northeastern University and Owner/Producer of John Tobin Presents. This culinary fundraiser will feature delicious tastings from more that two dozen restaurants, offering attendees a Mardi Gras theme experience! Restaurants will be encouraged to enter two contests: Best Mardi Gras Cuisine and Best Mardi Gras Styled Table. Music, cash bar, raffles, Mardi Gras Giving Tree and more will round out this special evening. Tickets for this event are $30 per person, $35 at the door. Guests are encouraged to wear their masks!
