Step Out for Hospice on Sunday, Oct. 6, in Woburn features a 1-Mile Fun Run for kids at 11:30 am (free, limited number of free T-shirts available), 3-Mile Walk at noon ($30 preregistration/$40 day of/$15 students), 5-Mile Road Race at 12:30 pm ($30 preregistration/$40 day of/$15 students), live music, silent auction, raffle and refreshments. Step Out for Hospice sweatshirts are guaranteed for walk/road race entries received by Oct. 2. Registration/check-in begins at 10 am Oct. 6 at the Irish American Club of Woburn, 147 Main St., Woburn. The event benefits VNA Hospice & Palliative Care’s services for terminally ill patients and their loved ones.
