Step Out for Hospice features a 1-Mile Fun Run for kids at 11:30 am (free), 3-Mile Walk at noon ($30 preregistration/$40 day of), 5-Mile Road Race at 12:30 pm ($30 preregistration/$40 day of), and post-walk/run celebration including live music, chowder, hot dogs, and other refreshments. Step Out for Hospice long-sleeve shirts are guaranteed for entries received by Sept. 28. Registration/check-in begins at 10 am Oct. 2 at the Irish American Club of Woburn. The event benefits VNA Hospice & Palliative Care’s services for terminally ill patients and their loved ones.
