Stand Against Racism is a signature campaign of YWCAs across the country to build community among those who work for racial justice and to raise awareness about the negative impact of institutional and structural racism in our communities. This campaign is just one component of our strategy to eliminating racism and empower women.
This year the YWCA Cambridge is hosting a reception to honor ‘Women of Color Leading Change’ in Cambridge! This event will build off of last week’s Celebration of Cambridge’s Trailblazing Women and will launch a photo exhibit of women of color who are change makers in the Cambridge area. For a donation to YWCA Cambridge, you can have a professional head shot taken at the event as well.
We hope you can join us to honor women of color who are leading change in our community and to network with local leaders in the business, nonprofit, education, tech, and government sectors!
The event is free and open to the public, but we encourage you to register on Eventbrite here!
A complete list of honorees will be announced shortly.
