Come join Hakim Cunningham former Deputy Director and Community Organizer for Boston Workers Alliance as he discusses the strategies he developed over the past six years to empower people in career planning for the local workforce. He will discuss career transitions, effective resumes, cover letters, appearance, psychology of finding a job that fits your personality, worksite depression,entrepreneurship, multiple intelligences you can apply to your career plan. Hakim will also have Q & A after the workshop with an open mic for those who want to talk about their own personal career struggles and triumphs. This is in partnership with the Boston Public Library career success and community engagement plan. Please RSVP with ( jidakaar@bpl.org) if you wish to attend.
