Silver Lining Mentoring (Formerly known as Adoption and Foster Care Mentoring) is currently in need of dedicated, caring adults to become Life Skills Mentors to youth with foster care experience.
Join us for an Info Session to learn how you can be involved! You don’t need a special background to be a mentor, just a desire to be a supportive, consistent presence to a young adult who needs a stable adult figure. Mentors are required to commit to spending one evening a month for a year with their mentee and must be at least twenty-one years old. We are specifically looking for male mentors, mentors with out-of-home care experience, and mentors who identify as people of color. Join us for an Info Session to learn more about being a mentor! You can sign-up by e-mailing mentor@silverliningmentoring.org or call 617 224-1302.
