Award-winning 501c3 non-profit Science from Scientists (SfS) will be hosting our first-ever gala in the evening of May 9, 2018 at Akamai Technologies in Cambridge, MA. Teachers, children, and administrators who have been a part of our program will participate in our event for an unforgettable night of science and inspiration. We will also provide food and drink, engaging activities for the guests, and a silent and live auction featuring unique experiences and items.
The funds raised through our gala will support our mission to teach and inspire the next generation to identify and solve real-world problems by improving STEM literacy. We carry out our mission through various programs, including our core during-school Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) enrichment programming, in which we send our role model scientists into classrooms across the U.S. to deliver fun, hands-on STEM lessons to the 8,300 students we serve.
