On the heels of a recent mission-driven expedition to Kenya and in preparation for the teams’ participation in their fifth Rhino Charge in June 2019, American Rhino, the mission-based apparel, footwear and accessories brand, dedicated to raising awareness and funds for ground conservation efforts to protect critically endangered African wildlife, is hosting its first annual Safari in the City Live Auction & CharityGalaon Saturday, May 4, 2019. All proceeds raised this evening will directly support the American Rhino Foundation, and its ability to give to the most local and effective conservation groups in Kenya.
From 6:30PM to 11:00PM, guests donned in their best ‘safari chic’ attire will enjoy a lavish evening of flavorful fare, including an oyster bar from Culinary Director Nick Dixon of Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar, and small bites from premier North Shore Caterer Timothy S. Hopkins, while sipping on signature libations, bidding, and dancing to Boston’s uncut Funk, Soul and R&B band, Mo Bounce. Participating guests who open up their hearts and wallets throughout the evening aren’t expected to go home empty handed, as the list of items up for grabs are far from modest, including a 10-day safari for two in Kenya(valued at $40,000); a 7-day stay in an apartment in Paris (valued at $5,000); a 7-day stay for up to 8 in the Dominican Republic (valued at $10,000), a case of limited addition rare wine from Napa Valley (valued at $500); a solid 14K Gold Elephant Hair Bracelet from American Rhino (valued at $5,000) and many more.
Tickets for the event are $50 per personand can be purchased here. This event will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from6:30PM to 11:00PM at American Rhino’s flagship location inFaneuil Hall Marketplace, 4 S. Market Street, Boston, MA. The silent auction will begin at 6:30PMwhen to doors open, and the live auction will begin at 8:00PM.
