American Rhino, the mission-based apparel, footwear and accessories brand, dedicated to raising awareness and funds for ground conservation efforts to protect critically endangered African wildlife, adds yet another exciting event for Bostonians to their newly opened Rhino Lodge in the Faneuil Hall space, hosting Rise Up for Rhinos: a fundraising event in partnership with Artists for Wildlife Conservation on Saturday, March 16, 2019. All proceeds from the event will go to both Artists for Wildlife Conservation and the American Rhino Foundation in support of the Wildlife Education programs and anti-poaching groups in Kenya.
From 5:30PM – 8:00PM, guests can enjoy a night of passed bites, libations and live music featuring the musical stylings of Afro-Jazz vocalist Wangari Fahari, Paul Thibeault, Casey Scheuerell, and special guest Bakithi Kumalo, former Afro-Pop bassist for Paul Simon. Additionally, the event will feature a silent auction where all proceeds will go to wildlife education and anti-poaching groups in Kenya.
Tickets are $25 per person (tax deductible), and can be purchased here: https://risefundraiser.com/campaign/1519?design-mode=TILE
