The Inaugural No Backing Down One Year Release Gatsby Gala will be begin the tradition of a star-studded night of mixing and mingling with Jonas and his celebrity guests, auctions, dancing, unlimited food and drink, and a musical performance by recording artist Brian McKnight – all for a good cause! Join us for a night of fun as we celebrate the one year release of No Backing Down and raise funds towards the No Backing Down Movie and incredible non-profit You’re With Us!
YOU’RE WITH US!
You’re With Us! is a non-profit organization that creates inclusion opportunities with able-bodied college groups for young adults with disabilities. Each young adult is matched with a college group based on their interests, skills, and values. When the college group accepts the young adult with disabilities into their group, the young adult acquires social skills, leadership tools and a plan to guide the young adult to transition successfully from school to adult life.
NO BACKING DOWN
No Backing Down is an inspirational book written by Sean Stellato, agent to Jonas Gray. No Backing Down is the true story of the 1994 Salem High football team. With a contentious teachers’ strike jeopardizing their season, the Salem High Witches banded together to unify a fractured community. Led by famed head coach Ken Perrone, this team of underdogs scored improbable victories in the face of adversity. Stellato’s book has gained national attention and motivated many; No Backing Down is in the process of being made into a full length feature film to bring awareness to the country about this energizing story.
