A Night to End the Stigma is an exciting night with door prizes, raffles, music, free food, a cash bar and a silent auction. It is being held to raise money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Out of the Darkness Overnight Walk. A Night to End the Stigma is hosted by myself (Julie) to meet my goal of raising $10,000 for this years walk in NYC. I participate in these walks because I am a survivor, and I want to share my story with the world in hopes that I can save others. You can help me meet share my story and save lives just by attending.
A $100 donation to the AFSP can help cover “the cost of More Than Sad: Suicide Prevention and Education for Teachers and Other School Personnel (DVD and supporting program)” -AFSP Donation Page
Just think if I meet my goal of raising $10,000 that could be 100 different teachers and school personnel being trained in Suicide Prevention.
