The mission of NAMI Massachusetts is to improve the quality of life for people with mental illnesses and for their families. We work to end the stigma surrounding mental illness by raising awareness, building community, and continuing to offer our support and education programs free of charge to individuals facing mental health challenges, and the family and caregivers who support them.
Please join us for our 5th annual fundraiser, where we will raise money to maintain and expand our work. We will hear from Dr. David Satcher, former U.S. Surgeon General (1998-2002), who has been recognized nationally as an anti-stigma champion for more than 20 years, and author of the first–ever Surgeon General’s Report on Mental Health, 1999. Hors d’oeuvres, wine, and soft drinks are included.
