Join us for a two-part hybrid fitness event on May 21 at 2:45 PM EST to benefit Pine Street Inn, a non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating homelessness. Pine Street Inn is New England’s leading provider of housing, shelter, street outreach and job training to homeless individuals. This family-friendly event will feature an all-levels and inclusive strength training class and cardio dance class, and will have both virtual and in-person attendance options! Any size donation will automatically register you for the two-part fitness fundraiser!
For those attending in-person, the event will be held at HealthWorks at 35 White Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In-person attendance is capped at 30 people and proof of vaccination is required to attend. Alternatively, a link will be shared with those registrants who would like to attend virtually.
The strength training portion (starting at 2:55 PM EST) will be led by Elyse Oliver, founder of Sweat N’ Slay. The cardio dance portion (starting at 3:30 PM EST) will be led by 305 Fitness Certified Instructor and Pine Street Inn Board Member, Avana Epperson-Temple. We hope you can join us for one or both classes!
The individuals Pine Street Inn serves have varied backgrounds and face complex obstacles, including trauma, addiction, domestic violence issues and mental health issues—challenges a bed or an apartment key alone cannot help. That is why Pine Street continues to expand programs to help guests and tenants on the path to lasting stability.
Please note that a waiver must be signed by ALL participants. The waiver will be emailed to all registrants before the event.
