Join Pakathon Boston and the BU Organization of Pakistani Students to hear an exciting line-up of speakers doing innovative, impactful work in Pakistan.
Asher Hassan, the founder of Naya Jeevan – which provides micro-health insurance to the underserved – Genevieve Walsh, the founder of the Iqra Fund – which runs all girls’ schools in Pakistan’s tribal areas – and Sameer Sabir, the founder of the Rehma Fund – which aims to promote charitable causes that provide equal healthcare access to children – will talk about what they do, why they do it, and how they went from having an idea to execution by founding successful organizations.
We hope their founders’ stories will not only create awareness about positive work being done in Pakistan but also move audience members to think about the change they could make and how they, too, can turn their own ideas into successful ventures.
The Changemakers:
Dr. Asher Hasan, founder of Naya Jeevan
Dr. Genevieve Walsh, founder of Iqra Fund
Sameer Sabir, founder of Rehma Fund
