Funds Raised Will Help Grant Wishes of Children in Massachusetts and Rhode Island
Make-A-Wish® Massachusetts and Rhode Island is pleased to announce the Trailblaze Challenge® will take place on Saturday, October 1 at Savoy Mountain State Forest in western Massachusetts. Designed as an endurance event, the Trailblaze Challenge gives participants the opportunity to hike 30 miles of the Mahican-Mohawk Trail all in one amazing day! This is a hike, not a race, and caters to all levels from novice to advanced outdoor enthusiasts. As well as being an extraordinary physical test, the real challenge is to raise funds to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. By supporting the Trailblaze Challenge, you will help Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island to enrich seriously ill children’s lives with hope, strength, and joy.
Participants must pre-register at: www.trailblazechallengema.kintera.org. A Make-A-Wish Massachusetts and Rhode Island staff member will contact you regarding next steps and to secure your registration fee. Information sessions and training clinics are available.
Registration fee: $100 (credited toward fundraising goal)
Minimum fundraising commitment: $2,500 (to grant children’s wishes); you will be provided with your own personal fundraising page, hotel accommodations on hike weekend, and a Trailblaze Challenge t-shirt on hike day.
