Annual Celebration of Community
We will be honoring Speaker Robert A. DeLeo: East Boston alum, Winthrop resident, and recently retired Speaker for his leadership on behalf of the most vulnerable–and on behalf of the early education and care system. Please join us as he takes us on a delightful walking tour of his youthful roots in Eastie with WBZ Reporter Cheryl Fiandaca. We will also be joined by special guest Loretta LeRoche, internationally acclaimed Stress Expert, Humorist, Author, Speaker and TV personality, in conversation with Teen Leader from EBSC’s Joyful Eastie Initiative, Ebeline Oliva.
The theme for this event: Joy:Us, is focused on rebounding from COVID-19 with joy and resiliency. We are planning live watch parties for the event–including one that Speaker DeLeo will attend. To be safe, we’ll be monitoring the pandemic’s limitations for in person gatherings.
