Please join us for the Ginormous Climb at the John Hancock Tower on Saturday, March 28 for a stair climb to the top of the tallest building in New England. This unique stair climbing event raises funds to support the Children’s Advocacy Center of Suffolk County (CAC). You can register to participate as a Superhero Climber, Elite Climber, or as a Hero Volunteer.
Each year, over 1,300 children are referred to the CAC to talk about abuse and violence in their lives. We work together as a team with social workers, police, prosecutors, doctors and others to make sure that every child who’s been hurt receives all of the support and services that they deserve and need. We think that every child that comes to the CAC is a hero – and adults who step up for kids are heroes, too. We’re inviting our climbers to be heroes, by taking on the challenge of the Hancock and showing that they care about the safety and well-being of kids in our community.
Get started on your Ginormous Climb and register today! Rally the support of family, friends and colleagues to help you reach your goal. Your journey will begin with the challenge of raising awareness of child abuse, neglect and violence when you ask family, friends and colleagues to sponsor your Climb. The funds you help raise will support the young heroes that visit the CAC and their families on their journey of healing.
Our event is co-sponsored by the Boston Police Department and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. We anticipate 400 or more climbers to take part in the day. As part of your registration you will receive access to food and beverage, silent auction, chip timing, event shirt and prizes to the top three male and female finishers.
We hope to see you there!
