Come sip wine, nibble cheese, watch glassblowing demonstrations, bid on master artists’ creations, and hear about the incredible work Boston’s youth are doing at Bird Street Community Center! Meet 16-year-old Joseph, who said this: “Before I started blowing glass, I didn’t know I could make something beautiful.”

Every day, Bird Street mission instills in youth and young adults the intellectual, social, and leadership competencies to deal effectively with daily challenges, strive for academic success, and pursue employment opportunities. Together, we ensure that high-risk, inner-city children and teenagers have the experiences, skills, and support to make healthy choices and succeed in all the “next steps” of their lives: middle school, high school, college, vocational school, and employment.
