Getting into the holiday spirit is just a state of mind! Come celebrate Christmas in July at the Seaport Hotel on Thursday, July 27th from 6-8pm to benefit Christmas in the City (CITC), a 100% volunteer-run non-profit organization that supports and mentors Boston’s homeless population and provides over 18,000 children in need with toys and other items during the holiday season.
Guests will take over the TAMO Terrace for a night, sipping festive cocktails like the event’s signature Reindeer Daiquiri, nibbling small bites and grooving to holiday music while playing Christmas-themed corn hole or dressing up at the photo booth. There will be exciting raffle and auction items, including New England Patriots ticket packages, an overnight stay at the Seaport Hotel, Red Sox tickets and more.
This December, CITC will hold its 29th Annual Holiday Party and is expecting to serve more than the 18,000 children they supported last year; CITC hosted 5,000 children and moms living in shelters or transitional housing at their annual Winter Wonderland celebration and distributed toys and clothing the following day to 13,000 more children whose families who had fallen on hard times and otherwise might find nothing under the tree.
Proceeds raised from Christmas in July will support Christmas in the City and the Seaport Hotel will again serve as a toy drop-off location this winter, where you can drop off toys in the lobby or with their valet in December.

Christmas in the City
Christmas in the City serves up a winter wonderland experience, complete with lunch, pony rides, free dental check-ups, haircuts, amusement park bouncy slides, entertainment from choirs and dancers and pictures with Santa to thousands of children and their moms or guardians who are living in homeless shelters or transitional housing. They also help families in need in the days after the event itself, leading up to and including Christmas Eve. Each child receives a gift from their wish list, with a label letting them know it was selected especially for them by Santa (with a little help from Christmas in the City’s generous donors).http://www.christmasinthecity.org
