On February 24, please join the UMass Boston Center for Collaborative Leadership as we recognize legendary community activist Mel King at the Fifth Annual Building a Better Boston Award Ceremony. The award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to advancing the region through their work as conveners and collaborators. We are pleased to be joined by special guest speakers, Tony Richards from Governor Baker’s office, City of Boston Mayor Martin J. Walsh, UMass President Marty Meehan, and UMass Boston Chancellor Keith Motley.
