The 2017 Boston Dance Alliance Gala will be held on Sunday, May 21, 2017 6-9:30 p.m. at the Dorothy and Charles Mosesian Center for the Arts in Watertown, Mass.
Celebrate the achievements of Andrea Herbert Major, founder of Roxbury Center for the Performing Arts, as the 2017 Dr. Michael Shannon Dance Champion, and honor philanthropist James K. Spriggs as this year’s BDA Unsung Hero.
EXCITING NEWS: Artists headlining this special evening include Kieran Jordan, named by the Massachusetts Cultural Council as a Folk Master for her work in traditional Irish sean nos (old style) dancing, and acclaimed tap dancer and Boston native Derick Grant performing in honor of his aunt, Andrea Major. Plus students and dancers from Roxbury Center for the Performing Arts!
