About Blue Tag Co. Sample Sales
The Blue Tag name represents the blue in the MFH flag, which signifies vigilance, perseverance & justice. The Gold Star symbol began during World War I. At the start of the American involvement in 1917, families hung banners with blue stars representing family members in the services. If the service member died in combat, the family changed the blue star to gold. Blue Tag gives the Sample Sale an identity. All purchases support Massachusetts Fallen Heroes’ mission in commemorating our fallen and supporting their families.
About Massachusetts Fallen Heroes
As a group of Combat Veterans who have served in Iraq and Afghanistan, Massachusetts Fallen Heroes is committed to memorializing their fellow service members who did not return home to their families. So far, the non-profit organization has raised funds, created a first-of-its-kind memorial, developed the Veteran’s Edge program to assist Veterans, and created a network of support and programs for their Gold Star Families. The organization aims to honor the memories of fellow, fallen soldiers, support the Gold Star Family members, empower veterans, and educate communities.
