Belmont World Film presents a special fundraising screening of the film Binti as the closing film of its 17th Annual Family Festival with partial proceeds benefiting the Refugee and Immigrant Assistance Center (RIAC).
Spunky and charming 12 year-old Binti dreams of becoming a famous vlogger like her idol. Butwhen the police raid her home and try to deport her and her dad to the Congo, they are forced to flee. Binti befriends a young environmentalist named Elias, and together they use their
complementary skills and personalities to create a plan to keep them in Belgium.
This Belgian/Dutch co-production is recommended for children age 9+ and their families.
