An Evening of Joyous Giving
The Young at Heart Gala promises to be a great evening! In addition to fantastic food, wine, and fellowship there will be two opportunities to give joyfully to support Bethany’s mission.
• Mystery Boxes – Guests will have a chance to purchase wrapped “Mystery Boxes” which contain a prize valued at or above the price paid. The prizes will remain a mystery until the “big reveal” during dessert when everyone opens their boxes to see what they have won.
• Fund Our Mission – A fun live auction-style request for donations to support Bethany’s Activities Program and Building Renovation Project.
The Mystery Boxes and Fund-Our-Mission are sure to generate lots of excitement!
The cocktail reception will begin at 6:00 PM outside the Plaza Ballroom. At 7:00 guests will gather inside the Ballroom for a welcome message from His Eminence Seán Cardinal O’Malley, Archbishop of Boston, dinner and the evening’s program. Beloved Boston news personality Susan Wornick hosts the event.
Proceeds from the Young at Heart Gala will support Bethany’s robust Activities Program and Bethany’s Building Renovation Project to create a Library and Computer Area, Resident Store, and Meeting Room. Providing a social hub with increased access to books, the ability to connect with loved ones on Facebook, online gaming and classes that stimulate the mind, as well as an opportunity to shop independently, the new area will enhance the quality of life for the nearly 160 Residents who call Bethany home.
