THE YOUNG PROFESSIONALS NETWORK OF THE URBAN LEAGUE OF EASTERN MASSACHUSETTS HOSTS THE 4TH ANNUAL LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCE: THE ROAD NOT DISCOVERED
Roxbury, MA – October 18, 2014. On November 15, 2014, the Young Professionals Network of the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts (YPN-ULEM) will be having its 4th Annual Leadership Development Conference. The purpose of this conference is to provide participants with information and resources for career and professional development, and to engage young professionals in dialogue on issues that are important to them. This year’s theme, “The Road Not Discovered”, will focus on stimulating ingenuity and creativity to help young professionals on their journey towards greater personal and professional success.
The conference will consist of plenary sessions that range in topics from laymen politics on the local and national level to the role of young professionals in the ongoing battle between the community and law enforcement. Additionally, there will be several workshops that will discuss negotiation tactics in the workplace, job complacency versus the fulfillment of a career, work-life balance, entrepreneurship and much more.
The keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Randal D. Pinkett, President and CEO of BCT Partners, and winner of Season 4 of NBC’s The Apprentice with Donald Trump. Other speakers include Darnell L. Williams, President and CEO of the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts; Shanti Das, The Hip-Hop Professional; Natasha Saunders, Life Coach; and Monica Cost, Author and Branding Expert.
