On Saturday, December 1st 2018 Gateway Arts, a nonprofit studio art center for adults with disabilities, will hold its 45th annual Holiday Fair, from 10 A.M. – 5 P.M.
The artists at Gateway have worked hard all year to create unique fine art and hand crafts to inspire your holiday shopping. From hand woven home furnishings and hand thrown and painted pottery, to folk art ornaments and fine art works large and small, the gift possibilities to be discovered at the Holiday Fair are endless. Shopping at Gateway is shopping with a mission — 50% of all original artwork and product sale proceeds are paid to the artist as commission. Each purchase directly supports professional careers in art for adults with disabilities.
The Holiday Fair will take place alongside a solo exhibition of drawings, paintings, and sculpture by artist Dominic Tufo, and Gateway’s annual $100 and Under exhibition, where art works can be purchased off the gallery wall for $100 or less! Enjoy a unique and lively atmosphere unlike any other this holiday season, with live music, complimentary warm beverages, and bake sale treats for purchase.
