28th Annual YWCA Haverhill Tribute to Women Fundraiser. After being closed since 2012, the YWCA is re-opening its Haverhill Residence for very low-income women in November. Funds raised will go toward furnishing and equipping the Residence. It will provide safe affordable housing for 10 women in a newly renovated, handicapped accessible space.
Join the YWCA Northeastern Massachusetts (Haverhill site) at this inspiring awards luncheon. We honor 20 outstanding women who have made exceptional contributions, through their professional lives or community service–and often, bot–to the quality of life in Greater Haverhill. Former MA. Senator Susan Tucker is honorary hostess. Tickets are $50. Available until Oct. 20. Sponsorship and ad opportunities available until Sept. 29.
