Make a difference in the lives of local residents facing a terminal illness during the 25th Annual Step Out for Hospice to benefit VNA Hospice & Palliative Care on Sunday, Oct. 2, kicking off at the Irish American Club of Woburn. Join us for the Kids Fun Run at 11:30, 3-mile walk at noon, and 5-mile road race at 12:30 p.m. Enjoy live music from The Offramps, clam chowder from The Green’s Grille & Pub and other refreshments, raffle, silent auction, and more. The Fun Run is free for ages 13 and younger and a limited number of free shirts for Fun Run participants will be available. Pre-register for the walk or run for $30/$15 students through noon on Sept. 30 or at the event beginning at 10 a.m. for $40/$15 students. Registration fee includes a sweatshirt.
