Since the pandemic started blood collection has been lower than normal, putting a strain on hospitals. “The American Red Cross recently issued a public call to action due to a plummeting national inventory of blood donations” forcing the cancellation of surgeries and other medical procedures. As a result, your donation is critical.
My family and I are working closely with the hospitals, to ensure that we can do everything to keep the process as safe as possible with restrictions and evolving protocols in place. To help get as much blood collected as possible, we have expanded the drive to two days.
Once again, the 18th Annual Blood Drive will be at Luciano’s Lake Pearl in Wrentham, MA for a second year in a row. This allow us to provide more than adequate spacing.
While walk-ins will be allowed this year, it is strongly advised that all donors make an appointment. Please use the following links to make appointments for Friday and Saturday.
Once you create an appointment, a form will be emailed to you by the scheduling tool. Please do not fill out the form, forms will be provided on the day of the drive for all to complete.
