Join us for a free book signing and lecture with author Deborah Cramer. From her home on the salt marshes of Gloucester, Mass., naturalist author Deborah Cramer seems to derive inspiration for her books. Her latest is “The Narrow Edge: A Tiny Bird, An Ancient Crab & An Epic Journey,” about the harrowing journey of migrating sandpipers. It’s her third book following “Great Waters: An Atlantic Passage” and “Smithsonian Ocean: Our Water Our World.” The book covers the fascinating journey of a sandpiper, the red knot, as it flies 19,000 miles from one end of the earth to the other and back.
