Comedians Lenny Clarke, Dave Russo, Christine Hurley, Joe Yannetty and Anthony Scibelli to Perform Benefit Event to benefit Globe Santa, The Boston Globe Foundation’s annual holiday gifting charity for local families in need.
The event will take place on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 8:00 pm at Giggles Comedy Club at Prince Pizzeria in Saugus. Prince Pizzeria will provide pizza to all who attend and all ticket proceeds will benefit Globe Santa. Tickets for the event are $30 and are available online at www.globesanta.org/giggles
Since 1956, generous donations by readers of The BostonGlobe, BostonGlobe.com and Boston.com have allowed Globe Santa to spread holiday cheer providing presents to families in need through Greater Boston. 100% of all donations go towards the purchase and delivery of the gifts with The Boston Globe Foundation covering all administrative costs of the campaign.
Globe Santa works to provide toys and books for children up to 12 years of age across 171 cities and towns in Massachusetts. In 2013, more than $1.2 million in donations helped 25,924 local families.
