This scholarship fundraising event provides a space to honor excellence in the field of education. The members of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Eta Phi Chapter, wish to honor Men of Color who have dedicated their efforts to educating our youth in Greater Boston and the surrounding areas. We look to present honors in multiple fields and acknowledge that education goes beyond the walls of the school by honoring additional non-traditional educators. This event looks to link one of our most distinguished brethren, and creator of the field we know as African American History Dr. Carter G. Woodson, his lifetime passion of educating others with our current principles of Uplift and scholarship. We help to continue his legacy by celebrating these rarely recognized individuals, their dedication, and commitment to ensuring the success of our young people.
All Profits raised from the event will go to support the scholarship fund that awards multiple students entering college each year.
