Champions of Mentoring is Mass Mentoring Partnership’s signature fundraising and recognition event, co-hosted by the Boston Red Sox. This year’s event will be held on Tuesday, June 2nd, at the State Street Pavilion in Fenway Park. The morning will include networking, breakfast, and a program to celebrate MMP, the power of relationships, and the accomplishments of the field of mentoring.
Each year at the event, MMP bestows the Champion of Mentoring Awards to individuals and corporations who have shown a strong commitment to the mentoring field; the KELLY Award to a mentee for his or her educational pursuits; and the James G. Connolly Tribute Fund awards to provide grant money to MA-based mentoring programs working to better their communities. The morning also includes a networking portion and speaking program, with past guest speakers including John Farrell, Peter Gammons and Bill Russell.
