Every year for the past 10 years, students at The Met High School have participated in the “Hope For Life” mission trip to Guatemala. During this trip, students engage in volunteering within malnourished communities, assisting in efforts to support the local population. Additionally, they conduct personal projects during their time there, contributing to the community’s well-being.
To partake in the mission trip, each student is required to raise $1,800. This funding covers transportation, lodging, food, translation, and other related expenses. Our overall fundraising goal is $10,000, and we aim to achieve this through our “Night of Hope” Gala. This event will feature entertainment, dinner, and a silent auction, providing an opportunity for the community to come together and support our mission.
