Take part in the first annual United Way of Tri-County Heart of Hunger Challenge!
What is the Heart of Hunger Challenge: This is a month-long health and exercise challenge to keep you moving and healthy this winter. Participants must register before February 1, 2021 and commit to run or walk a minimum of one mile, outdoors, every day in February. That’s only 28 days! Most of us can walk a mile-a-day for 28 days!!
Why Take the Challenge: In addition to keeping your body healthy and fit, funds raised through your registration fee and a portion of our t-shirt sales support three United Way of Tri-County food pantries and two hot meal programs, serving thousands of individuals and families throughout the MetroWest/495 Corridor.
To Register: Visit the United Way of Tri-County’s website at www.uwotc.org/heart, registration is $15.
Who Can Participate: Anyone!
T-Shirts: Cozy, long-sleeve t-shirts are also available for purchase upon registration.
What do I Receive: No prizes will be awarded, but all participants who fulfill the month-long challenge and log-in their miles will be entered into the Heart of Hunger raffle for a few cash prizes.
Raffle Details: Participants who log-in their miles for each day in February will be entered into our raffle. The more miles you log, the more entries you’ll receive. Raffle winners will be drawn after the challenge has ended. Winners will be notified by email.
