We hope you will join us on April 9th, 2020, to help Whittier Street Health Center raise much needed funds to support our mission, and share some laughter at our annual Roast fundraising event.
For our 2020 Roast celebration, Whittier is excited to honor Dr. Mark Girard the President of the Northeast Division & Executive VP of Steward Health Care Systems. We are fortunate to have Dr. Girard as a friend and supporter. The Roast will be held from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel, 50 Park Plaza, Boston, MA 02116.
This important fundraiser to raise funds to save, transform and improve the lives of close to 30,000 patients served by Whittier. The funds we raise will help Whittier to support our mission to provide high-quality, affordable health care and a full range of holistic support services, and ensure that some of the most vulnerable and marginalized communities in the city of Boston have equitable access to high quality, reliable and accessible health care and support services.
Whittier employs a prism of care treatment model which means we have a commitment to do more to serve each and every individual that comes through our doors. It begins with excellent, comprehensive primary care medical services, and a wide range of social services and wellness programs. All our services are designed to close the racial and ethnic disparities in the health of our patients, and to address the social and economic inequities in the communities served.
Your participation in the 2020 Roast will positively impact the lives of our vulnerable patients, and help to make the event a fun, memorable, and meaningful tribute to Mark. We hope we can count on your support, and look forward to seeing you at the event on April 9th, 2020.
