Due to necessary precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we will be rescheduling our April 1st Catalyst Awards. We are currently working to select a new date, likely in the fall of 2020, and will share more information soon. All tickets and sponsorships will be honored for the rescheduled event. Science Club for Girls (SCFG) is celebrating its 25th anniversary of providing free, experiential programs in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) for girls from underrepresented communities. SCFG addresses a critical need, offering a continuum of engaging activities in STEM for girls in grades K-8, junior mentoring and leadership experiences for high school girls, all enabled and enhanced through adult mentoring by committed women in STEM careers.
On April 1, 2020, Science Club for Girls will host the Catalyst Awards, an event that celebrates STEM collaboration, dialogue, and opportunity in our communities. We are expecting over 250 STEM industry leaders, community leaders and donors to attend and engage with program participants. The Catalyst Awards honor outstanding individuals and organizations whose leadership in the greater community furthers the cause of women and girls in STEM. All of the proceeds raised during the event will help further SCFG’s mission.
