VNA Care will honor three Heroes in Health Care during the nonprofit’s 13th annual Gala on Saturday, Nov. 10, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at the Mandarin Oriental, 776 Boylston St., Boston. This year’s Heroes are Agios (to be accepted by Dr. David Schenkein, CEO); Thomas A. Croswell, president and CEO of Tufts Health Plan; and Dr. Joan Y. Reede, dean for diversity and community partnership of Harvard Medical School. Heroes in Health Care raises essential funding for VNA of Boston’s charitable care programs as well as for palliative care provided by VNA Hospice & Palliative Care.
