Activist Afternoons is a fully-hosted activist space. We provide beautiful and spacious community activist space open to any political organizations in our community for text banking, postcarding, phone banking, training, and meeting other engaged community members from diverse backgrounds. We aim to foster communication, collaboration, and learning between our partner organizations and participants. At Activist Afternoons, we’re building a community of action, and you’re invited.
If your organization is looking for space for activism in Cambridge, we would love to hear from you!
This Monday, September 3rd, from 4 to 6pm, volunteers and organizations are coming together to affect real, positive change on all levels and all kinds of issues.
On this week’s ‘Activist Afternoon menu’:
- Justice Democrats will be making calls for candidates in upcoming elections, including senate candidate Kerri Harris in Delaware.
- The Indivisible Somerville For the Win! team will be phone banking for Jared Golden in Maine’s second congressional district.
- Voter Choice Massachusetts, the movement for Ranked Choice Voting in Massachusetts, will be planning canvasses and calling RCV supporters in the Boston area.
- Volunteers for Josh Zakim will be making calls to talk to voters about Josh’s campaign for Secretary of the Commonwealth!
All participants should bring their laptop and cell phone to all Activist Afternoons sessions. RSVP on our event page: https://actionnetwork.org/events/activist-afternoons-september-3rd

We normally meet every Sunday from 4pm to 6pm at Workbar Central Square, 45 Prospect Street in Cambridge. Our September 3rd session has been moved to Monday to minimize schedule conflicts with the Labor Day holiday. We hope to see you this Monday!
