The Metropolitan Waterworks Museum welcomes documentary artist Valery Lyman for Breaking Ground: An Immersive Meditation on the Oilfields of North Dakota.
Seen through the rise of the oil industry in North Dakota, Breaking Ground is a one-night immersive experience on the tale of dreams sought and abandoned that wends its way through the American psyche and the physical landscape of the country itself. Proceeds benefit education programming at the Waterworks Museum.
Join us on Wednesday, April 12 from 6:30-10pm for a documentary installation that brings together images and sound, projected upon the towering industrial backdrop of the Waterworks’ Great Engines Hall. Tickets are available for $10 per person.
The Waterworks Museum is located at 2450 Beacon Street between the campus of Boston College and the Cleveland Circle neighborhood, opposite the Chestnut Hill Reservoir. Take the T! Green Line to Cleveland Circle or Reservoir. ADA accessible. Limited parking onsite.
