Join with colleagues in the nonprofit sector for an evening of networking and workshop where you can explore your role in the changing landscape of the social sector.
The Department of leadership and Policy at Wheelock College is sponsoring an evening of networking and an interactive workshop for people currently working in, or interested in the nonprofit sector. Join with colleagues and other nonprofit professionals on Tuesday, April 14th, from 6:00-8:30PM, to network and explore the changing social sector landscape and your role in it. In this interactive evening you will have an opportunity to consider your personal and professional brand and expertise in the sector as it reinvents itself. Through a combination of networking case study and skill mapping you will leave with a next step action plan to help advance your nonprofit career.
The workshop leader, Tammy Dowley-Blackman, is an author, nonprofit and philanthropic leader and professor. She is the former Executive Director of two nationally-affiliated nonprofits and the manager of a specialized higher education recruitment program. She is the Principal of the organizational development consulting firm–tdb group and the President and CEO of Looking Forward Lab ™ created to work with emerging professionals on the intentional design of their professional and personal lives.
This free event will take place at Wheelock college, 150 Riverway in the Fenway section. Join us for refreshments, networking and an unforgettable workshop experience.
