Join the Community Outreach Group for Landscape Design (COGdesign) and Darrah Cole, Senior Horticulturist and Designer at the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway Conservancy, for a talk titled “A Changing Urban Landscape: the Evolution of the Rose Kennedy Greenway.”
Find out how the Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy has renewed its landscape through design, careful plant choice, and an organic soil improvements. Cole will discuss the successes, lessons, and challenges of designing and maintaining the Rose Kennedy Greenway, with special attention to Lynden Miller for the North End and Patrick Cullina‘s design renovations in the Wharf District.
Join us at The Nonprofit Center, 89 South Street, Boston, at 6 p.m. onWednesday, November 2 for Darrah’s talk and a reception. Suggested donation: $10.
