Voices & Visions, The Home for Little Wanderers’ signature fundraising gala, celebrates its eleventh year when it returns to the Seaport World Trade Center, 200 Seaport Boulevard, Boston, MA, on Thursday, May 21, 2015. Toast the imaginative spirit of children and the healing power of art as you explore this year’s exhibit featuring works created by youth from throughout the non-profit’s residential and special education programs. The evening will include a cocktail hour, art exhibit, silent auction, dinner, and recognition of special honorees including Jerry Sargent, President of Citizens Bank, and recipients of this year’s Sabino Marinella Award. The theme of this year’s event — “Who Am I?” — will be brought to life through the children’s unique voices and visions as they create mediums of artwork that allow them to reflect upon their personal journey and emotions. Join The Home for Little Wanderers as we embark on an odyssey inside the caring and insightful minds of children as we celebrate The Home and its role in helping youth on their personal journey toward a brighter future. Voices & Visions has evolved into one of the area’s largest events, attracting more than a thousand guests to raise $1 million for the child and family service agency’s programs and services across Boston and Eastern Massachusetts. For more than 200 years, The Home for Little Wanderers has earned a reputation for doing whatever it takes to strengthen vulnerable families and keep children safe in their communities, even when they don’t have family support. Serving children and youth from birth to 22, The Home makes a positive impact on over 7,000 lives across Boston and Eastern Massachusetts each year through a network of behavioral health services, therapeutic residential, special education, adoption and foster care. Additionally, a number of innovative programs provide specialized assistance to youth transitioning to adulthood from state systems of care. We continuously measure the impact of our work to develop and enhance our programs. We never give up on children. And we don’t let children give up on themselves.
