On October 2, 2016 we are holding our annual Boston Walk at the Arsenal Park in Watertown, MA. 500-800 people are expected. This walk is sponsored by Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE). FARE is the leading nonprofit organization working on behalf of the 15 million Americans with food allergies, including all those at risk for life-threatening anaphylaxis.
We walk so we can say FAREwell to Food Allergies! Through the efforts of supporters like you, the FARE Walk for Food Allergy raises critical funds and awareness each year to create a safer, more inclusive world for the 15 million Americans with food allergies. Our dedicated FARE Walk participants are committed to raising money in this inspirational event to fund FARE’s research, advocacy and education initiatives, and to show support to those with food allergies who walk among us in our lives and at the event.
This year as part of FARE’s Teal Pumpkin Project we built a giant pumpkin wall that’s 20 feet by 8 feet and everyone will paint a part of it until the entire pumpkin wall is covered in TEAL paint. There will also be sponsors, a drum circle, crafts and other activities for the families and adults.
