Bike to the Beach is a charity cycling event with Century and Metric Century distances to raise awareness and funding for autism. This year is Bike to the Beach’s 10th year as a 501c3 nonprofit organization. Bike to the Beach now hosts over 2,000 riders annually biking 100 miles, 70 miles, or 8 mile distances in six cities on the east coast.
The cause started as direct fundraising to our national partner Autism Speaks and now has expanded to directly reaching the local community where we have our rides. Funds raised host instructional bike camps for individuals on the autism spectrum along with other local area partner organizations. We have raised close to $3 million for the cause.
Come ride with Bike to the Beach on September 3rd in our 5th annual Boston charity ride! The event is for all levels of experience and is a fun, noncompetitive ride that creates a huge, lasting impact on the autism community.
